Maximilian
Emily Ann Meyer
Maximilian will always hold the most tender part of my heart as we lost him far too young, and he was the best adventure buddy in the world.
When he was only 10 I noticed him straining to urinate and got him to the vet with what I thought was a UTI.
It turned out to be transitional cell carcinoma, and we had way too few weeks with him after that.
What makes me happy though are two things.
My adventure buddy had the BEST BUCKET LIST EVER.
We were able to contribute to the University of Wisconsin’s study on that specific type of canine cancer.
So he lives on in what he could do to help other dogs maybe not face this diagnosis.
(PS – this is not a professional photo, but I am an amateur photographer looking to get better, so I’ve got a pretty good rig)
